Gabriel Pierné

Henri Constant Gabriel Pierné (1863-1937) was a French organist and composer. He was the organist at Ste Clotilde in Paris, succeeding César Franck. His most famous work is probably the oratorio La Croisade des Enfants

Henri Constant Gabriel Pierné (1863-1937) was a French organist and composer. He was the organist at Ste Clotilde in Paris, succeeding César Franck. His most famous work is probably the oratorio La Croisade des Enfants, but also notable are his shorter works March of the Little Lead Soldiers and Entrance of the Little Faun.
