Fear Before The March Of Flames is a mathcore/hardcore band from Denver, Colorado. Formed in 2002, the band consists of Adam Fisher (Guitar, Vocals), Brandon Proff (Drums), David Marion (Lead Vocals) and Michael Madruga (Bass). Their current sound (as of "Art Damage" ) can be described as experimental hardcore drawing influence from the likes of Converge, The Blood Brothers, and Botch.

They released their debut album "Odd How People Shake" in 2003 on Rise Records, and after gaining some noteority, were signed to Equal Vision Records, who re-released their debut in the January of 2004. Their debut was primarily in the vein of emocore, featuring a mix of screamed vocals (on the part of David Marion) and clean singing (provided by Adam Fisher). The instrumental work on this album is best described as typical of that of most of the melodic hardcore artists of the day, and most of the lyrics deal with personal relationships.
