Encore is the alias of Sabine Ohmes, one of the first well known vocalists in the genre euro house. She got her name after her debut as vocalist Encore Une Fois, a track by Sash! (Sascha Lappessen, Thomas Alisson and Ralf Kappmeier). Most of her singles came out under the name Sash! but also there was a single Le Soleil Noir that was out as her single (although the track was also published on Sash!'s hit album Trilenium).

Encore is not the same artist as DJ Encore who is actually a Danish DJ, Andreas B. Hemmeth. His track's genre is mostly trance. He works with vocalist Engelina (Engelina Larsen). Their most popular tracks were I See Right Through You and Walking in the Sky.
