Eddy Grant, born 5 March 1948, is a Guyana-born musician.

When he was still a young boy his parents emigrated to the UK, where he settled. He had his first hit in the late 1960s as lead singer of The Equals with his song

When he was still a young boy his parents emigrated to the UK, where he settled. He had his first hit in the late 1960s as lead singer of The Equals with his song Baby Come Back, a song which later topped the UK charts again when covered by UB40 & Pato Banton.
