E-type (born Bo Martin Eriksson on August 27, 1965) is a Swedish Eurodance singer/rapper whose debut single Set the world on fire topped Sweden's singles chart in 1994. A typical E-type record will include his gravelly rap alongside a powerful female vocal (for example, Nana Hedin), a formula which he doesn't appear to have changed in his long 10 year career. His latest album Loud Pipes Save Lives has proved successful in Scandinavia, and he continues to be considered one of the best artists in the genre. E-type is also known for smashhits such as This is the way, Life, Here I go again, Angels Crying and Campione 2000.
