Disciple was formed in 1992 by Kevin Young, Brad Noah, and Tim Barrett (three high school friends). The band released their first cd, What was I thinking? in 1996, but didn't get a hit single until their second album This Might Sting a Little with the song "I Just Know". Other hits include "By God" off the album By God, and Back Again off the album Back Again. Disciple has always been known to not shy away for saying God's name and that is what has drawn many fans toward them.
