Dino Cazares

Dino Cazares (born Friday, September 2, 1966) was the former guitarist for the Los Angeles, California-based death metal/industrial group Fear Factory. He was in the band until March 2002.

Cazares stated his father wanted him to be a baseball player but his mom influenced him to be a musician, which he liked better. He soon moved to Los Angeles and started jamming with other people. Before he was in Fear Factory, he was in the death metal band Brujeria. After Fear Factory formed, that became his main project. Their first album Soul of a New Machine was dedicated to his father Natividad and older brother Joey, but it was not successful as their other two albums Demanufacture and Obsolete.
