Dale Crover is a American rock musician. Crover is best known as the drummer for The Melvins, Porn (The Men of), and, for a brief time, Nirvana. He also sings and plays guitar in the band Altamont.

Crover joined The Melvins on drums in 1984, after the original drummer left the band. In late 1985 Crover (Bass), Kurt Cobain (Guitar/Vocals) and Greg Hokanson (Drums) formed Cobain's first rock band, Fecal Matter. After Hokanson left the band, Cobain and Crover went to the house of Cobain's aunt in Seattle, Washington and recorded a 16-song demo on a 4-track in December of 1985. Crover played Bass and Drums on the demo. Fecal Matter disbanded in 1986.
