Cutting Crew was a pop/rock band formed in England in 1985. Their biggest hit single, "I Just Died in Your Arms", reached #1 in the U.S. in 1987 from their first album Broadcast. It was included on the soundtrack of the video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, which was set in the 1980s.

The band was made up of singer Nick Van Eede, guitarist Kevin MacMichael, bassist Colin Farley and drummer Martin Beedle. After the band broke up in 1993, MacMichael died of cancer on New Year's Eve 2002 at his home in Nova Scotia at age 51.
