Cueshé (pronounced as Q-shay) is a 6-piece Filipino-based pop-alternative rock band who hails from the city of Cebu. Their debut single Stay has been a great top hit on different radio stations and various local TV hitcharts.

Cueshe had encountered many personal problems before they are sent in Manila. Well, while Cueshé was getting together, they used to jam in the bedroom of their current drummer/songwriter and bandleader Mike Manaloto, which became the band’s makeshift rehearsal studio. After practice, they would end up with banana cue for snacks—yet nutritious and was what they could afford as students. The “cue” comes from the banana cue and the “she”, from the original vocalist who was a she (female). An accent was added at the end of Cueshé to make it attractive to hear at, according to the band themselves.
