Clinic are a Liverpool band whose fast-paced, eclectic sound is best described as belonging to part of the Cosmic Scouse scene, although in reality they are forerunners to the likes of The Coral and The Zutons (their debut album, Internal Wrangler, was released in 2000).

According to their website, Clinic sound like "no other band". This is probably true, although they are known for unashamedly taking, e.g., a Captain Beefheart drum beat, Velvet Underground lyrics, some guitar riff, and throwing them all together in a Dadaesque fashion as a Clinic song.
