Cathedral are a heavy metal band from England founded by Lee Dorrian, a former member of Napalm Death and Mark Griffiths, a former Carcass (band) roadie. They first played very heavy and slow doom metal, released through Earache, then stoner rock released through Dorrian's own label, Rise Above Records.

The only original band members in the current line-up are Lee Dorrian and Gaz Jennings on guitars (formerly of Acid Reign).
