Candice Night born on May 8th, 1971 in Hauppage, Long Island, NY, USA) is the partner of former Deep Purple guitarist Ritchie Blackmore. She sang backing vocals for Blackmore's solo band Rainbow and is now the lead singer for Blackmore's Renaissance-influenced project, Blackmore's Night.

Candice began her singing career as backup vocalist during some Deep Purple shows, while on the road with Ritchie during the Battle Rages On tour. She met him on a soccer field in 1989, and she later was asked to write some songs for the last Rainbow cd, Stranger in Us All. Her songs: "Ariel", "Wolf to the Moon", "Black Masquerade", and lyrics for "Hall of the Mountain King", won her international acclaim as a lyricist. Leaving her modeling career aside, she began working with Ritchie Blackmore, forming the band "Blackmore's Night" in 1997, writing the lyrics and performing lead vocals; they released the award-winning album Shadow of the Moon.
