Blood Duster are an active four piece grind/death/rock band from Melbourne, Australia. To label them as grindcore would be a mistake, though. Their music, while staying heavy and ridiculously fast, spans across many rock/pop/metal styles.

Blood Duster are an active four piece grind/death/rock band from Melbourne, Australia. To label them as grindcore would be a mistake, though. Their music, while staying heavy and ridiculously fast, spans across many rock/pop/metal styles. The first offering, Yeest, was a straightforward grindcore album. The followup album, Str8 Outta Northcote was an extremely catchy southern-flavored stoner rock album. Cunt was and still is the most intense and true-to-its-roots offering, with rythmic bluesy metal guitars and insane, seizure-inducing drumwork. The band are currently enjoying some semi-mainstream success after their rock/pop infused self-titled Blood Duster album and an appearance at the annual Big Day Out festival.

Blood Duster will be touring across Europe and Japan in mid 2005 to promote the release of their first DVD, tentatively titled "The Shape of Death to Come" as well as a re-release of their first EP, "Fisting the Dead".
