Barry Gibb CBE (born Barry Alan Crompton Gibb on 1 September 1946 in Douglas, Isle of Man) is a singer, songwriter, producer and a member of the band the Bee Gees. In 1958, his family moved to Brisbane, Australia, where he and his brothers, twins Robin and Maurice, formed the Bee Gees, who would become one of the most successful pop groups of all time. During their five decade career, they have sold more than 110 million albums.

As a songwriter, he had 5 of his songs in the US top 10 at the same time in 1978.
