Andrew Ridgeley (born January 26 1963 in Bushey, Hertfordshire, England) was a British pop singer who formed the pop duo Wham! with his friend George Michael whom he met when they both attended Bushey Meads school. Andrew's father worked with Canon, and his mother was a schoolteacher.
After breaking off from Michael, Andrew released the solo album Son of Albert in 1990. It was a flop which led to his contract with Sony Music being cancelled. Singles from the album include "Shake" and "Red Dress."
