Amanda Stott (born on May 6 1982) is a Canadian country music singer from Brandon, Manitoba, Canada.

Amanda grew up on her family farm but her father was a saxophonist and pianist. She started singing in her church choir when she was just three years old and gained prominence at the 1994 Dauphin CountryFest. In 1999, she was signed to Warner Music Canada and her first self-titled CD was released in 2000. This album prompted single "Black is Black" which quickly became a hit on country radio and televison. She gained fame in the United States when Country Music Television started to air some of her videos. She also won a Juno Award for Best New Solo Artist.
