Alizée Jacotey (born August 21, 1984 in Ajaccio, Corsica) is a French singer. Her stage name is Alizée, being the feminine form of alizé, which means trade wind. She is considered to be the protégée of Mylène "Farmer" Gautier, a well-established and successful Quebec-born French singer. Alizée's most popular single was Moi... Lolita, which enjoyed success throughout most of Europe and parts of east Asia. Indeed, Alizée's image is that of a seductive Lolita character.

Alizée is currently taking a break from singing, but is rumoured to be returning with a new album in autumn 2006.
