A Billion Ernies are a band from Hemet, California, who incorporate the genres of ska, hardcore and screamo into their music. The story behind the name is, one of the members girlfriend was looking at her cat, Ernie, through a kaleidoscope and said "hey look, its a billion ernies". The band members liked this name and decided to use it as a name for their band. The band started out by auditioning for a tallent show for fun, when that worked out they decided to keep it going.
