They are generally refered to as a jazz quartet, but sing a wide variety of styles, including but not limited to: jazz, pop, R&B, classical, folk, soul, and hip-hop. It is with good reason that Australian jazz icon James Morrison refered to The Idea of North as "The best contemporary a cappella group in the country".
