Mark Anthony Patrick Owen (born January 27 1972 in Oldham, Lancashire) is a member of the boy band Take That. As a youngster, he dreamt of becoming a professional football player, he had trials for Manchester United, Huddersfield Town, and Rochdale football clubs, but due to serious injury, had no choice but to give up on his dreams.

He won the second series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2002.
