They are colloquially known as the abbreviated "8 Foot" (named after an 8 foot marijuana plant an 'associate' of the band had stashed somewhere), and the New Zealand music press is known to refer to them as The Bomb, Bitch. In 2002 they had an indie hit with their self titled single (and unofficial themesong) "8 Foot Sativa"
